Steamed fish with mixed peppers, carrots & whole okra

Steamed fish

A very simple, healthy and hassle free recipe that is cooked in a single pan. Can be paired with steamed potatoes, boiled plantains or yam.


Ingredients

  • 2 Whole Seabream fishes

Season the fish with:

  • 1tsp Rock salt

  • 1tsp Cayenne pepper

  • 1tsp dries parsley

  • 1tsp Garlic granules

  • 1/2tsp Black pepper

Sauce:

  • 150g Fresh okra

  • 2 Bell peppers

  • 1 Large brown onion

  • 3 Small carrots

  • 1 Leek

  • 2 Whole tomatoes

  • 3 Cloves of garlic

  • 2-3 Stalks of spring onions

  • 1 Cup fish stock

  • 1tsp Black pepper

  • 1tsp Pimento seeds

  • 1tsp White pepper

  • 4-5 Stalks of thyme
